First Parts Arrive

Well the first parts arrived at the garage this friday. We didn't know if the Hanson Bumper or the Poison Spyder Customs parts would get here first.

Even though the PSC parts were ordered more than a week later than the Hanson bumper the Poison Spyder stuff got here first.

After fully unwrapping the Rocker Armor I freaked out and thought that Poison Spyder had sent me TJ parts instead of LJ parts. I called them Friday afternoon and also sent an email with photos to get the problem rectified. The LJ Rocker armor is supposed to be 62 inches which it is.
The problem was that the newly redesigned (as of last week) rockers dont have the cutout relief for the UNLIMITED sticker on the sides of the vehicle because they make a new side armor panel which mounts above these new rockers right behind the front fenders. They called me back the same day and told me about the changes made to the rockers and new look. My bad.

The Poison Spyder Customs guys are first class and very professional and their products are second to none.

I shot the rockers with a self etching primer to ensure good paint adhesion.

This is the bottom side. You can see that the protection these privide extends at least 8 inches under the body panels.

This is all the parts drying in the very warm sun. Gotta love these Texas winters at 80 degrees.

This is a good shot of the rockers after the bed liner was applied.

Here are the "Blemished" trail corners. Click on the picks and try to find the sratches. You wont.

The Trail Corner Armor with cutouts for LED lights were purchased as blemished items at $100 for the set. This is $60 dollars cheaper than the normal price. We expected some minor damage but after unwrapping them it took me severl minutes to find anything that could be categorized as a blemish. I could not imagine anyone complaining about such a small "scratch" on a Jeep part.
